Anniversary

It's mid-June, and I've made all of three posts this year, all in a clump after getting back from Hawaii. Nik manages to do much better - even with masses of travel and teaching and people visiting, she still manages to write several posts a month and never more than about a month between. Why so behind with me? Well, partly I'm distracted (in a good way), and partly, I think I've just taken to IMing with Shauna and talking with John when I need therapy instead of writing.

Speaking of which, Monday is me and John's one year anniversary. We haven't decided yet if we're going to go off and do something fun like stay in a B&B on Orcas Island, or something mundane like find me a car I like better - I think I got the sportscar urge out of my system, and now I just want something I can haul lumber in and not worry about the paint... and besides, if I need a sportscar fix, I can drive John's car :)
